Remember my heartwarming story of getting a brand new iPhone the same model as my original 5S for the $81 it cost to replace the battery, which Apple couldn’t do? How they made it sound like it was a “my bad” thing and didn’t tell me I had to pay anything else for it? So nice. My phone carrier, AT&T, has separately charged $518 for that phone. Lately my laptop isn't finding my iPhone or letting me take my photos off it, though I can still charge the iPhone on it and use the iPhone's personal hotspot with it.

I can still sync my iPhone into my iTunes for now though that may change soon due to this thing here about Windows XP and Vista. Though I could still pay for a subscription to ( Read more... )

When I tried to factory reset my iPhone through iTunes today, the way I did last year, I got this message box: "Software for this iPhone (5S) is not currently available. Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes and try again." So I checked, and I do have the latest version of iTunes. Tried again. Same message box pops up! What do I do now? ( Read more... )

It appears that I'll have to look for an older version of Firefox to install and hope it doesn't do the same laptop crashing as what I currently have since it turns out that deviantART.com won't let me upload any of my photos to it in the version of Chrome I'm using, saying I need to upgrade, which I can't do since more recent versions of Chrome ( Read more... )

I removed the iTunes on my laptop, as iTunes suggested, and installed a new one I downloaded from online, but the new iTunes retains the registry setting problems that prevented my last iTunes from importing or burning CDs! What do I do now, because I am now afraid to try anything? System Restore might just add even more problems ( Read more... )

Tonight I called Apple Support about another iPod Nano problem but thankfully figured out a solution on my own. I couldn't stand another eight minutes of their loud, scratchy, crappy hold music selection.

the_other_sandy helped me with my original iTunes difficulty, but I've run into an odd problem. Some of the songs show the right artwork from the automatic album artwork match in iTunes and Get Info's artwork section, but on the Nano viewscreen itself the "cover" is just all black.
